Man arrested after significant police presence in Melfort

An increased police presence in Melfort Tuesday night has led to an arrest.

Melfort RCMP, along with the F Division Emergency Response Team, Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team executed the search of a home in the 200 block of MacLeod East.

The search warrant was issued under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

40-year-old David Barks of Melfort was charged with one count of failing to comply with a condition of his release order.
