U11 Battlefords Sharks’ Successful Season

The U11 Battlefords Sharks has clinched the top spot in the league heading into playoffs that were held in Swift Current March 15 -17th.

They had a near perfect season, with 39 of a possible 40 points.

They went on to fight their way through three more wins to guarantee themselves a spot in the A Final- including a tie breaking goal with .04 seconds left in the 3^rd period of our 1^st game. After a three period period battle in the A Final, the girls pulled away from the 3-2 game in the 3^rd to make it 4-2 , winning themselves both the SFHL U11 A West Champions 2023/2024 Banner and the SFHL U11 A Champions Banner 2023/2024 for both the South East and North West Divisions.

The U11 Sharks make history by being the 1^st female team to win their league.

The team was recently recognize at a U18 AA Sharks game – as that team started game 1 of provincial finals.
