Investigation continues after Wednesday’s police presence near Railway Ave. West

Battlefords RCMP are still investigating after an incident on Wednesday involving a vehicle fleeing from community safety officers.

After an initial search, officers found the vehicle abandoned by the tracks near Railway Ave., West and the suspects left on foot. RCMP said that the vehicle was stolen the day prior.

A police presence was active with the K-9 unit although the suspects have not been found.
