Humboldt RCMP seek help with multiple break-and-enters, mischief calls

The Humboldt RCMP are turning to the public for help in locating suspects in various break-and-enters and mischief calls in and around the areas of the communities.

The first incident happened in the early hours of Feb. 3 at around 1:30 a.m. when Humboldt RCMP received a complaint that two individuals defaced the front of a business on the 600 block of 9th Street in Humboldt.

The two suspects were caught on video surveillance and police need help identifying them.

Mischief in Muenster

The second incident happened a day later when police were called to a building on Railway Street in Muenster for reports of damaged property.

Upon arrival, officers found damage inside the public building and estimated that the incident occurred sometime between 10:00 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 9:00 a.m. on Feb. 4.

Break-and-enter in Lake Lenore

A few weeks later on Feb. 24, police received a report that a business in Lake Lenore had been broken into.

The incident happened between 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 23 and 9:00 a.m. on Feb. 24 at a public business on Main Street.

Lanigan vandalism

On March 19, officers received a complaint that a public building was vandalized on Hoover Street.

When police arrived, they found that feces had been smeared on the windows and doors by an unknown number of suspects. Humboldt RCMP say the incident happened between 12:00 a.m. on March 16 and 8:00 a.m. on March 17.

Break-and-enter in Humboldt

The fifth and final incident happened at around 1:20 a.m. on March 26 when suspects broke into a business on 5th Avenue in Humboldt.

Officers found that the suspects broke in through the patio door window and stole money from the karaoke machine. The suspects also tried to pry open the ATM machine but were unsuccessful.

Police didn’t say if they thought these incidents were connected and no arrests have been made as of the publication of this article.
