Everyone safe after carbon monoxide call in Nipawin
Fire crews in Nipawin responded to a carbon monoxide call late Monday night
Carbon monoxide alarms were sounding at the home shortly before 11:30 p.m., and the family had evacuated the home and were waiting in the driveway when fire crews arrived.
Trace amounts of carbon monoxide were detected in the attached garage, and levels spiked upon entry to the house.
Crews opened windows and doors to ventilate the home, and the residents spent the night at a family member’s home.
