May 3, 2024 | 9:21 AM

The Prince Albert Police Service has confirmed more arrests in connection to a brawl that occurred last month outside a local nightclub.

Terrance Shier, 50, is facing four counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm and made his first court appearance on Wednesday. Shier was released and is back in court on May 15.

On Friday morning, Jordan McDougall, 27, appeared in court on two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He’s been released to appear again on May 16 under conditions that he have no contact with the co-accused or victims

The incident from April 21, involved an altercation between members of the public and bar security, and was recorded by multiple cell phones and shared hundreds of times on social media. After being beaten to the ground, one of the bouncers is then kicked repeatedly by a woman who has not been charged or arrested.

Parkland Ambulance attended and treated two victims at the scene. Two additional victims were transported to the Victoria Hospital for treatment as their injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Speaking with paNOW, on the condition of anonymity, one of the two men sent to hospital confirmed their attackers refused to pay the cover charge.

Dustin Jay William Shier, who is the son of Terrance Shier, was arrested earlier this week and released on bail. He is scheduled back in court on May 15.

Prince Albert police continue to investigate and anticipate additional arrests.
