Bull elk left to waste in Nipawin says Conservation Officers

Conservation officers are looking for help to find the person responsible for dumping a bull elk in Nipawin.

They received a call on the Turn in Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line about an elk dumped and left to waste in the community on May 4.

The head of a 5 x 5 bull elk and the front half of the elk carcass had been dumped.

Conservation officers believe the elk was shot last fall and the carcass had been hanging until it was dumped. Distinct tire tracks were found at the scene.

Call the TIPP line at 1-800-667-7561 if you have any information on this case. Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
