Mustangs searching for new Director of Marketing, Business Manager

For the second year in a row, the Melfort Mustangs are looking for someone new to head up their business office.

Hana Grace previously held the position this season, however, she is no longer with the organization.

According to Team President, Jordan Lee, the club is looking for someone to market the 2024 Canterra Seeds Cup champions as best as possible.

“We’re just looking for someone to come in and really take on the business side of this, as far as maintaining corporate sponsorship and running the office. We’re also looking for someone who’s organized and who is really in tune with trying to market the Melfort Mustangs,” he told northeastNOW.

Coming off a silver medal at Nationals, the Mustangs are hoping that peaks some more interest in people and brings them someone with plenty of experience.

“Any type of history with sales, marketing or advertising would be nice. Anyone who is also good with the media side of things whether that’s social media or print. Another asset would be someone who’s personable, as in this office you’re going to be meeting a lot of people,” Lee added.

The position is described as the ‘Director of Marketing, Business, and Office Administration’.

“People will say you get a bit of a rest now, but that’s not really the case. We’ll be jumping right into selling season tickets and sponsorship planning for the ice ads and those sorts of things start right away. It’s definitely a year-round job, so we’re trying to have someone in place as soon as possible. Hopefully, we’ll have someone hired by the beginning of July.”
