Charges laid after youth robbed of bike at gunpoint

A 19-year-old man is facing charges in connection to an armed robbery in Prince Albert, where the young victim was threatened with a gun and had their bike stolen.

Jordan Charles appeared Friday morning at provincial court and remanded to July 10.

The robbery occurred late Thursday night in the 200 block of 15th Street West. Charles was located by police about two blocks away.

In addition to the robbery charge, he’s also accused of breach of a Release Order.

The bicycle was returned to the victim and no injuries were reported.
