Second collision south of Battleford on Hwy. 4 labelled as ‘serious’, RCMP

Just a short period of time after one crash closed Highway 4 near Cochin, a second collision has happened on the same highway, south of Battleford.

RCMP described the second crash as “a serious collision” about seven kilometres south of Battlefords.

That portion of the highway is also now closed and the portion near Cochin is expected to remain that way for several hours.

Detours are in place but motorists should expect delays. Driver’s are being asked to follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.

As this investigation is in preliminary stages, there are no additional details to share at this time.
