Charges stayed against Montreal Lake man

Criminal charges that were laid against Michael Roberts of Montreal Lake have been stayed by the Crown Prosecutor’s office.

Roberts, age 30, was supposed to be tried yesterday in Montreal Lake on charges of robbery and aggravated assault.

The charges came from a serious assault in that community last October.
