Argentina and New Zealand will be coming back to Prince Albert next year for the 2025 Men’s Softball World Cup.

On Sunday, the two nations punched their ticket to the World Finals after winning in the Group B Qualifiers at Rotary Field in Prince Albert.

Argentina, who are the World No. 1, finished the Qualifiers with a perfect 6-0 record, ending the round robin at 5-0 before winning the finals 6-5 over New Zealand.

In the repechage, New Zealand was able to collect themselves and bounce back with a win over Canada, 4-1 to claim the second and final spot in the World Cup out of Group B. Canada will automatically advance to the World Cup since they are the tournament hosts.

Argentina and New Zealand join the Dominican Republic and the defending World Champions Australia as the only clubs to qualify for the World Cup thus far, as the Group C Qualifiers are set to happen in Oklahoma City, USA with two more tickets up for grabs.

The United States, Japan, Colombia, Guatemala, South Africa, and The Netherlands are set to compete in Group C with the tournament set to happen in September.
