Power outages planned for Lac La Ronge region, Black Lake

SaskPower is warning northern residents of upcoming planned power outages.

An outage is scheduled from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday and will affect customers in Air Ronge, La Ronge, Sucker River, Stanley Mission, Missinipe and surrounding areas.

A SaskPower spokesperson said the outage is necessary to replace damaged crossarms on power poles. In total, 3,418 customers will be affected.

In addition, a planned outage is scheduled on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. affecting all customers in Black Lake.
