House fire in Melfort

An early morning fire in Melfort on Thursday.

The fire department responded to the fire at a house on the 600 block of Burrows Ave. E. at 6 a.m.

Crews were on scene for over two hours as they battled the blaze, which seemed to be centred in the roof area.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire or on injuries.
