Weapons trafficking trial for Hudson Bay man to start in spring

A man accused of weapons trafficking will have his trial next year.
Steven Bondy, 56, of Hudson Bay was charged after the search of a home in the Viellardville, SK area on March 6.
Police seized several items, including 40 rifles, two handguns, over 10,000 rounds of ammunition, small amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine, and trafficking paraphernalia.
Bondy was charged with one count of weapons trafficking and two counts each of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
