Nomination period for Air Ronge council begins

The VIllage of Air Ronge has begun a call for nominations for members of council ahead of a planned municipal election in November.

Those interested in submitting a nomination have until Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. to do so. Aside from the position of mayor, there will be four councillor seats up for grabs.

The election will be held Nov. 19 with the advanced polls scheduled for Oct. 29 and Nov. 5.

The current members of council are Mayor Julie Baschuk, Deputy-Mayor Kristy McDougall and councillors Tabitha Burr, Terry DesRoches and Corey Hardcastle.
