Suspect in armed robbery case makes first court appearance

One of the suspects in an armed robbery case in the RM of Spalding will return to court next week.

23-year-old Bohdey Bussiere of Spalding had his case adjourned yesterday, and he will appear in court by video next Thursday.

Bussiere faces three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm.

He was charged in connection to an armed robbery at a rural residence in the RM of Spalding on Monday.

RCMP are still on the lookout for the second suspect in the case, 34-year-old Joseph “Joey” Desjarlais from Fishing Lake First Nation.

He faces 10 counts in all and a warrant has been issued for his arrest in this case. He is also wanted in connection to an armed robbery earlier this month in Wadena.
