NB set to receive funding from the Municipal Police Grants program
North Battleford will continue to get funding from the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety,
The city will receive close to $817,000 through the 2024-25 Municipal Police Grants program which will be used to support the seven RCMP members that serve in the proactive sphere including neighborhood policing, the Policing and Crisis Team (PACT), and public education
“Our government is dedicated to making Saskatchewan a safe place to live, work and raise a family,” said Paul Merriman, minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety via new release.
“This grant provides the City of North Battleford with resources to enhance officers’ abilities to respond to calls for service and address social disorder concerns in their community.”
