Pierceland RCMP investigating death on Mudie Lake First Nation

Pierceland RCMP and the Saskatchewan Corners Service are investigating a sudden death on Mudie Lake First Nation.
Police were called to a home on the reserve on Wednesday at around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a sudden death. Officers along with local EMS responded and located a deceased individual at the scene. They were not identified.
The investigation continues.
As of now, the investigation has not prompted any risk to public safety. Police will provide updates as they become available.
