Oct 21, 2024 | 4:23 PM

A man accused of attempted murder and aggravated assault after an incident last year in Prudhomme will be tried by a jury next year at Court of King’s Bench in Saskatoon.

That was determined during a pre-trial conference held on Friday.

Myles Has’ trial is scheduled to start Sept. 22, 2025.

Back on Sept, 6, 2023, police were called to a home in Prudhomme and determined through their investigation an altercation occurred between two men.

A firearm was discharged and one of the men was injured. He was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The other man left the scene in a vehicle, which was recovered the following day in Wakaw. The vehicle was found abandoned.

A warrant was soon after issued for Has’ arrest and he was located five days later in Saskatoon.
