Nipawin Elks and Royal Purple Walk-A-Thon raises 10K for SPARC

Oct 22, 2024 | 2:00 PM

A major donation from the Nipawin Elks and Royal Purple to the Saskatchewan Pediatric Auditory Rehabilitation Centre (SPARC).

The money was raised from the 49th annual Elks Walk-A-Thon Oct. 18, 19, and 20 in Nipawin. Elks and Royal Purple members from across the province were there to help raise money for the SPARC Centre at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

This year’s Walk-A-Thon raised over $10,000, with all funds going to the Centre.

According to the Nipawin Elks and Royal Purple, SPARC is “an early detection assessment and (re)habilitation program for learning impaired children in the province.”
