Trials delayed for Prince Albert Police officer accused of assault
The two trials for a Prince Albert Police officer accused of assault, won’t begin now until next year.
According to his lawyer, there was a scheduling issue with a witness.
Const. Dillon Husky, who is facing three counts of assault, was initially scheduled to face trial at provincial court on Oct. 24 and Dec. 12. Not guilty pleas were entered last March.
The alleged offences occurred on two separate dates in July 2022.
