The Prince Albert Raiders have put pen to paper with one of their picks from the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

The club announced on Saturday that they have signed 2009-born defenceman Liam Myhre to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. A native of Nipawin, Myhre was taken in the third round, 49th overall, by P.A. in this past year’s draft.

Last season with the North East Wolfpack (SAAHLU15AA), the 5’11”, 157lbs blueliner scored 17 goals and added 29 assists in 29 games. This season with the Prince Albert Mintos, the 15-year-old has one assist in one appearance.

Myhre will make his WHL debut on Saturday night when the Raiders host the Edmonton Oil Kings. He will wear #11. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.
