Nov 20, 2024 | 9:50 AM

Conservation officers are asking for your help after receiving a call about a young bull moose shot and left to waste in the area.

Melfort conservation officers received a call on the Turn in Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) Line about the moose that was found in a field five kilometres east and a kilometre north of Crystal Springs, or about 6.5 kilometres southwest of Struthers Lake.

Evidence showed a vehicle had driven up to and away from the poached animal, which was believed to have been shot sometime between the night of Nov. 15 and the night of Nov. 16.
