Truck burns in fire near convenience store in North Battleford

A truck was fully engulfed in flames on Thursday evening in North Battleford, near the intersection of 17 Avenue and 100 Street.

A witness reported that the fire erupted around 5:45 p.m. outside of a convenience store. RCMP officers and ambulance personnel were on the scene to assist.

Lindsay Holm, Chief of the North Battleford Fire Department, noted that firefighters responded swiftly to the scene and quickly extinguished the vehicle fire.

He said the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
