Highway 4 north of North Battleford re-opened following major accident

Traffic is flowing once again on Highway 4 north of North Battleford after a major accident shut down traffic in either direction on Friday evening.

The crash happened at around 8:00 p.m. near Hamlin Road, roughly 8 km north of the city, with local RCMP, fire, and EMS responding.

Not much is known at this time, however, STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene from Saskatoon. There is no word on injuries.

According to the RM of North Battleford No-437 Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page, the Highway was reopened in either direction at 4:00 a.m. Saturday.
