Melfort Mustangs move up CJHL rankings after weekend wins

The Melfort Mustangs have climbed a couple of spots in the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 rankings.

The Mustangs moved from tenth to eighth on this week’s list of the top 20 teams.

Melfort swept a pair of games in Kindersley on the weekend, 4-3 and 3-1 to move to 16-4-0-0. They lead the league with 32 points, and have won five straight games.

The Mustangs travel to La Ronge for a game against the Ice Wolves Tuesday night before hosting Battlefords on Friday.
