Suspect thief in Tisdale falls two stories

Nov 27, 2024 | 5:00 PM

Tisdale RCMP are looking into a series of crimes earlier this month. The incidents all happened in the early hours of Nov. 11.

Between 3:40 and 5:00 am, a four-door truck was seen at the Tisdale C-Store and a suspect was wearing a high visibility jacket.

He stole items from the shed and drove across the street to another business.

The suspect then fell from a two-story height at that building and RCMP say he was likely injured.

A second person was also seen in the vehicle, which had been stolen from Nipawin a couple of weeks earlier and was later recovered.

A couple of hours later, a truck was observed leaving the scene of a vehicle fire in the industrial area.

The truck left a business on 97th St. by cutting across the property on Heritage Rd. and was last seen heading north.

It’s not known if the two events are linked, and neither person has been identified.

The arson case remains under investigation, and anyone with information can contact Tisdale RCMP.
