One dead in Highway 14 collision near Landis; RCMP investigation continues

Unity RCMP is investigating a tragic collision that resulted in one fatality Thursday afternoon on Highway 14 near Landis,

The crash involved an SUV and a semi-truck.

The driver of the SUV, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. He has been identified as a 61-year-old man from Millet, Alta.

The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed and was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
