New additions to North Stars for 2025/26 season
The Battlefords North Stars announced a pair of new additions to the team this past week for the 2025/26 season, signing Carter Geysen from the AAA Tisdale Trojans and Kaleb Dewar from the AAA Warman Wildcats.
Geysen is a 2007 born forward out of White City, Saskatchewan who was selected in the 4th round with the 48th overall pick by the North Stars in the 2023 SJHL Draft.
This season with Tisdale, Geysen is the captain of the team and has had a big impact, currently the third leading point getter on the squad with 15 goals and 10 assists in 20 games.
“We are very excited to welcome Carter to our forward group for next season. He possesses a lot of intangibles we are looking for in our players, compete, grit, skill and character. Being the captain for Tisdale this year he has been able to lead by example on and off the ice. We know we are getting a good player but more importantly a better person.” Said Wylie Riendeau, General Manager/Head Scout of the Battlefords North Stars
