Lloyd Man charged with drug trafficking

A 55-year-old man will appear in Lloydminster court in mid-January after being charged with drug trafficking.
According to police, Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team found and seized 28 grams of methamphetamine; 14 grams of Fentanyl; nearly $2,000 cash; drug trafficking paraphernalia and a stolen vehicle.
The arrest and subsequent charges were laid after an investigation in a potential trafficking ring. He was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, fentanyl and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
