What if I don’t have my own equipment? – No problem you can borrow ours until your able to get your own. All you need to bring is clean indoor runners.
What if I have never curled? We understand starting something you have never done is scary. Twin Rivers is a judgment-free zone and we are more than happy to help new curlers. Give us a call and we can set up a time to come in when no other curling is going on and help you get started.
What if I can’t commit to a full year? All of our leagues you can sign up for a full year, just the first half or just the second half. The Social League you can even sign up for just 6 weeks at a time.
When does the season start and end? The new season will start Jan 6th 2025 and will run until March 28th.
Twin Rivers available leagues:
Monday Open – 7:00 PM draw that has a fun social focus. This league is open to all ages and genders, focusing on having fun. Listen to background music with our least competitive night other than the social league. This is a great league for any skill level including new curlers. This is a shorter evening of curling with 6 end games.
New Horizons – 1:00 PM fun Tuesday afternoon league from 1 to 3 pm. All ages and calibers can play in this league. Don’t have a team to join with? No problem as teams are drawn from a hat. Members sign up in this league at the beginning of the fall and spring seasons. Perfect for Snowbirds or stay-at-homes that would like an afternoon of fellowship along with curling.
Tuesday Competitive – A 7:00 PM open league for all, teams can be Men, Women, or Mixed but a more competitive league for the experienced curlers in a friendly, competitive atmosphere.
Wednesday drop-in stick – The 1:00 PM Wednesday afternoon stick league is an informal “drop-in” format where participants are not committed to each Wednesday. All participants throw with a stick (or throwing device) and pay as they play. Teams are formed each Wed before play and play 6 ends. No advance registration is required.
Wednesday Fun Social League – 7:00 PM Draw where beginners and those with minimal experience rule the ice! Get ready to glide into the world of curling with a twist. Slide out and dance to music during the game then head upstairs after for tasty bites, sip on drinks, and grab exciting giveaways. No experience is needed, and all equipment is provided! Don’t have a team? No problem sign up as a single, double, or even as a team of three and we will form teams to make sure everyone can join. This is a shorter evening of curling with 6 end games.
Thursday Carol Christopher League – This social league with a competitive spirit league has two draws, mornings and afternoons, a 10 am start and a 1:00 pm start. Teams are drawn from a hat with members signing up for this league at the beginning of the fall and spring seasons. Also great for snowbirds or stay-at-home retirees who would like to come out for a game of curling & fellowship.
Thursday Open – A 7:00 PM Open league for all, any combination of age and / or gender. A fun, friendly evening of curling for all skill levels from beginners to experts. Thursday open sits between Tuesday competitive and Monday recreational for how competitive it is. This is one of our most popular league times so register early!
Junior Instructional – Junior Instructional Curling runs on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. Children are separated into groups based on age. Clean indoor shoes are necessary; we can provide brooms, sliders, and grippers free of charge
