RCMP investigating thefts in and around Melfort on Monday

Melfort RCMP are looking into a couple of thefts this week.

A vehicle at a business on the west side of Melfort was stolen at about 8:50 Monday night.

RCMP say a black SUV was seen on surveillance entering the property and soon after was seen leaving the property along with the stolen vehicle.

The vehicle is a 1999 Chevrolet 3500 flat deck truck with Saskatchewan license plate 462 NGD.

The truck is white with Co-op decals on it and has a hydraulic lift on the back that is used to lift heavy items on the flat deck.

In a separate incident, a snowmobile was stolen from a rural property near Crystal Springs on Monday.

RCMP say the snowmobile was loaded onto a vehicle that drove west toward Wakaw.

The snowmobile was an 800 series black and yellow Ski-Doo.
