P.A. security guard robbed and stabbed, one person arrested
Prince Albert Police are investigating an aggravated assault that ended with a man in hospital.
Early Tuesday evening, Police were called to a business in the 2900 block of second Ave. W. There was a report of a theft in progress where car keys had been stolen.
The suspects fled before police arrived and while investigating, officers learned that a security guard had been stabbed. Further investigation found that three people, two women and a man, were being asked to leave the building when the security guard’s keys were stolen.
Security continued to follow the suspects when an altercation broke out and one of the guards was stabbed by the male suspect. He was located and arrested a short time later without incident where upon searching him, officers found and seized a knife.
