Nominations for 2025-26 Chamber board announced

The nominations for the Battlefords and District Chamber of Commerce new board of directors have been announced.
The committee named the following recommendations for a two year term: Cayla Ellis Annette’s School of Dance Curtis Gratton of Discovery Co-operative Ltd., Vince Kahpeaysewat of Gold Eagle Casino, Kyle Kellgren of Jackfish Lodge Golf & Conference Centre, Donna Lehmann of Westland Insurance Group Ltd. Morgan Meriam of Culligan Water – North Battleford, Dallan Oberg of HRO Chartered Professional Accountants, Kayla Petersen of Century 21 Prairie Elite Real Estate, Derek Schmidt * Bill & Don’s Men’s Wear, Glenda Rye of North Battleford Luk Plumbing Heating & Electric Ltd.
Meanwhile, those who have one more year of their term are: Ashlee Babiy of CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) Caroline Burgoyne of Innovation Federal Credit Union, Pamela Connor of Dynamic Appraisals, Alethea Demarais of Northwest Professional Services Corp., Kelly Fluney of Gold Eagle Lodge, Cassandra Germsheid of Fieldstone Holdings Corp. (Kerr’s Cleaners Inc.), Jenna Russell of SaskTel and Jeremy Smith of The Smith’s Studios and DevGen.
The new board will begin their duties Feb. 18.
