Heavy snowfall expected in the Northern Sask.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
That’s the advice from Environment Canada which is forecasting heavy snowfall amounts for the La Ronge area on Thursday.
A warning was issued to say that 15 to 25 cm of snow will begin falling early Thursday morning and continue during the day. The snow will taper off before Friday morning. The warning covers a wide area of the northern half of the province including Waskesiu and Montreal Lake up to La Loche and all areas in between.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and highways and roads may become difficult to navigate due to the accumulation.
