La Ronge’s Nigel Bell, who performs under the name Nige B, is up for three Saskatchewan Music Awards.
Nominees for the event, which will take place at the Regina Performing Arts Centre in Regina on March 2, were announced on Tuesday.
Bell was nominated for Album of the Year (U R What U R Vol. 2), Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Electronic Artist of the Year (Velcro Stories). Public voting for Album of the Year will open online on Jan. 22.
In addition, the Community Arts Mentorship Program (CAMP) has been nominated under the Industry Achievement category.
