Sharks set to represent Team Sask at NAHC
It’s already been a historic season for the Battlefords AAA Sharks as they are currently the #2 ranked AAA team in the nation, boasting a 25-4-1 (W-L-OTL) overall record and now, the accolades continue to pile up.
Forward Danika Dureau, goalie Mackenzie Seth and affiliate player Berkley Wuttunee of the Sharks have all been selected to play for Team Sask at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) this spring.
Dureau, who just recently committed to Merrimack College (NCAA DI), has been an absolute force with the Sharks this season, leading the team and league in points with 40, coming from 19 goals and 21 assists in just 20 games.
Seth has also had a great season with the Sharks in between the pipes. Her record this season is 7-1-0 with one shutout and she is the third best goalie overall in the league with a 2.22 GAA and .930 SV%.
