Before prairie hardy tree fruits were available, pioneer kitchens relied on Rhubarb to make jam, pies, and tasty treats for the family. Its leaves were the creative part of many prairie kid playtime!

Tracy Romuld, founder, felt it was high time this hardy and dependable plant was celebrated!

The festival will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025, our village of Paynton plans to do this with a Rhubarb Festival.

This will be a fun day for the community and a fundraiser for the Festival.
