Two arrested after police locate cocaine in vehicle

Two women were arrested in La Ronge last week after a proactive traffic stop by local RCMP.

On Jan. 28, Mounties pulled over a vehicle where they found the driver to have a suspended licence. She was also on warrants from Ile-a-La-Crosse RCMP.

Police also located drug paraphernalia and searched the vehicle where they found and seized roughly 124 grams of cocaine and a large sum of cash.

The driver and passenger were both arrested.
