‘Actively evading arrest’: Search underway for man with multiple warrants: RCMP

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a man with multiple warrants for charges who is “actively evading arrest.”

Darcy Herman, 28, is wanted for assaulting, not complying with a release order and missing court. These are related to charges of resisting a peace officer, making threats, and unauthorized firearm possession.

Police believe Herman is now in the La Loche and/or Turnor Lake area.

Herman is about 5-11 and 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and typically some facial hair. He has a cursive tattoo on the left side of his neck.

“If you see him, do not approach him,” RCMP said in a release.
