Melfort-area kidnapping suspect appears in court

The man facing kidnapping and other charges made his first court appearance in Melfort on Wednesday.

30-year-old Tyrell Yeo faces charges including kidnapping, assault, and break-and-enter following an incident Feb. 24 in the Melfort RCMP detachment area.

The victim reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Yeo was found by the RCMP shortly after in Humboldt.

He will make his next appearance in Melfort March 6.
