Tisdale Trojans playoff run starts in Saskatoon

The Tisdale Trojans begin their playoff quest tonight as they face the two-time defending champion Saskatoon Blazers.

The fifth-seeded Trojans will travel to Saskatoon tonight to kick off their Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League playoff series.

Tisdale will look to avenge last year’s semifinal sweep at the hands of the Blazers, the number four seed.

Both teams won two games against each other during the regular season, with Saskatoon finishing five points up on the Trojans in the standings.

The puck drops at 7 tonight, with Game 2 in Tisdale on Wednesday.
