A tense moment on Moosomin First Nation has resulted in charges being laid against two people.

RCMP say a suspect pointed what looked like a gun at a group of people but didn’t fire and no one was hurt

This happened Tuesday evening. Officers later arrested four people and seized a gun, bear spray, and about 26 grams of cocaine.

After further investigation, a 23-year-old man from Moosomin First Nation is now facing several firearm-related charges, including pointing a firearm and possession of a weapon contrary to an order.

A male youth is also charged with firearm offences, along with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Both were set to appear in court on March 12.

For the other two arrested teenagers, their court informations have not been sworn so police are unable to share further details at this time.
