Woman faces charges in armed robbery on Moosomin First Nation
A 23-year-old woman is set to be in North Battleford Provincial Court tomorrow following a robbery that happened last Sunday on Moosomin First Nation.
Battlefords RCMP say they got a call that day at around 5:30 p.m. about the incident, and they later deemed that three suspects stole a car by threatening the victim with a gun and a knife.
The next day, the Mounties kept looking for the suspects by following reports of sightings, and they ended up finding the stolen car on Iffley Grid Road, which is located between Battleford and Cochin.
After further investigation, the woman from Moosomin First Nation was arrested Tuesday and now faces two counts of robbery. As for now, there is no information about the other two suspects.
