Man in custody after running away from officers

Battlefords RCMP said a man was arrested after fleeing from them in North Battleford on Saturday.
Officers responded to a call about a suspicious person on Airport Road around 3:35 p.m. A man had driven onto a property and was behaving oddly before taking off when police arrived.
Mounties attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle didn’t stop. Officers used a tire deflation device, and the driver continued on flattened tires before stopping in a Heritage Way parking lot, where he was arrested.
He remains in custody with charges pending. His identity has not been released.
