RCMP searching for truck after firearm pointed at rural homeowner

Battlefords RCMP are actively searching for a white pickup truck and its driver after they pointed a firearm at a homeowner on Easter Sunday.

Police said the incident happened at around 11 a.m. in the RM of Roundhill, near Range Road 3143 north of Highway 750.

Reports say an early 1990s Mazda B Series truck with running boards or an early 1990s Dodge Ram 50 drove by a rural property and pointed a firearm at the homeowner while driving by.

As of the publication of this article, the truck has not been located and RCMP are actively searching for it.

If seen, police urge to not approach the vehicle and instead call 310-RCMP (7267) or 911 in an emergency and report its location. Tips can also be anonymously submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
