17-year-old boy killed in crash north of Prince Albert

Prince Albert RCMP are confirming a 17-year-old boy from the RM of Paddockwood was killed when the car when he was driving collided with an SUV.

The crash happened Friday evening at the intersection of White Star Road and Lempereur Road.

The boy was declared deceased by EMS at the scene and a woman who was driving the SUV, was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening in nature.

Neither vehicle had passengers.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
