One dead after Air Ronge house fire

Update: April 30, 11:15 a.m.

RCMP released a statement on the fatal house fire in Air Ronge, stating that the individual’s death is non-suspicious in nature.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service continues to investigate. No further information will be released.

Officers are currently at the scene of a residential fire in Air Ronge.

A media release issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP states one person was located deceased at the scene.

As this investigation is in preliminary stages, RCMP are unable to confirm if the fire is suspicious in nature. They are also unable to provide identifying details of the deceased individual at this time.

Fire investigators with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service will assist with this investigation as it continues.
