Four individuals are facing drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop in Air Ronge.

In the early morning hours of April 25, RCMP initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling on Highway 2. During their investigation, in which all individuals were arrested, officers located and seized a conducted energy weapon from an occupant, as well as bear spray.

A child under the age of five was also in the vehicle, and police arranged for them to be safely picked up by a family member.

Following a search, officers located and seized a prohibited firearm, 125 grams of crack cocaine, 14 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of a substance believed to be a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl, and additional drug trafficking paraphernalia.
